Come Out, Come Out, Wherever you are

Do you know that feeling when you want something, but you don't know what it is?  I've been feeling this way for a few weeks - sort of uneasy, unsettled, sort of in transition...   I'm looking for an unnameable something..

My art wants something from me and vice versa, but we are uncertain about what it is.  We know it has to do with paper, charcoal, pastels and paint.  We know it has to do with working fast, and we know there are faces involved, so we are playing around.....

Per, charcoal and pastel...

Red. blue, black paint, more oil pastel... I love this red!  I got so involved in the process, I forgot to take more process pics!  Her two little friends showed up...

Paper, red paint, charcoal, pastel, face, fast:  It's a start for the first day of this new something... .Whatever I'm looking for is still hiding,  but I know it's wants to be found.
AHA!  Right this instant, as I write this - I get it - we're playing "hide and seek" and I'm "it"!
 Now I understand.... this is going to be fun.....
